Kilbeggan Whiskey Review:

Type: Blended Irish Whiskey

How it’s made: Blended whiskey, distilled in Ireland.

ABV: 50% ABV

Price for the bottle: Around $30

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Complexly bready, with roasted nuts and vanilla. A delicious dose of toffee.

Taste: Creamy, caramel-like body with roasted nuts and peppered toffee. It is very smooth, but does have a very warm hit at the end.

Finish: Long and smooth. Faded salty-sweet toffee-vanilla that is far to feel alcohol burn going down.

What I like: A delicious Irish whiskey. This whiskey is very smooth and easy to drink. Knoble of toffee is the best way to describe it. A very sweet whiskey, but not in a bad way.

What I don’t like: Because it is a blend, it can be a little hard to figure out its personality, and it has a refined flavor. If you are expecting a more robust whiskey experience, this may not be the first one you look at.

Initial Flavor: Creamy, caramel-like body with a mix of roasted nuts and peppered toffee.

Mouthfeel: It’s very creamy and smooth. Depending on how you drink, you may feel the alcohol.

Finish: Distinct cotton candy flavored toffee that is a bit of a kick. Definitely a smooth and easy to drink whiskey. You will definitely feel alcohol with this whiskey.

Dryness: You will definitely feel the alcohol with this whiskey. This is a very smooth whiskey that is very easy to drink.

The Bottom Line: Kilbeggan is a delicious blended Irish whiskey that has a robust flavor. There’s a mild burn coming down but it’s necessary. Kilbeggan Whiskey Review 1:

Initial Flavor: Creamy, caramel-like body with a mix of roasted nuts and peppered toffee.

Mouthfeel: Like I said before, it’s very smooth and creamy. There is a slight burn coming down, but it’s not harsh or too bold. It’s a very easy whiskey to drink, and I would definitely recommend it.

Finish: The toffee flavor is proportionally maintained throughout the entire drink. It’s a smooth whiskey, with a smooth finish.

Dryness: You will definitely feel the alcohols with this whiskey. Again, it’s a very smooth whiskey with little burn.

The Bottom Line: Another one of my favorite blended whiskeys. This whiskey blends the best of wheat and malt whiskeys. It was like taking a shot straight of heaven. You definitely will have to drink it slow to savor all the flavors. It was really worth the extra money to buy this whiskey. It’s easy to drink, and the flavors are lovely. No complaints.Another good one, the flavor is very similar to the Kilbeggan whiskey. It’s another great whiskey that is easy to drink. The Kilbeggan whiskey has a rich, creamy body with a jeweled taste of whiskey. It had a peaty finish and was easy to sip and enjoy. The aroma at some angles was rather heavy, I would say. Initial Flavor: The tastes of a straight malt whiskey, with some more honey notes and also some pine hops. Overall it was pleasant and enjoyable. The leaf touches were even getting into the taste of it.

Mouthfeel: The whiskey is grainy in some parts, but for the most part it is smooth. The sweetness of it is worth noting. It’s got a light toffee aftertaste, and that’s pleasant.

Aroma: The aroma is very earthy and heavy at some angles. It has a nice peaty quality to it as well, joined with smoke and wood. I found it rather nice and pleasant.

Finish: The whiskey is extremely smooth, and at the end it’s pleasant and nice with a bit of a honey taste to it. It’s about as good as it gets, in my opinion.

Overall: The Kilbeggan whiskey is worth the price, especially if you can get it for the promotional price. The whiskey I had was about right for the promotional price. The taste is pleasant and above average, and the holy tastes of it are very nice. I would definitely recommend this whiskey, and I feel it is tremendous. The sweet notes it has aren’t overpowering, and the delicious blend of flavors is very pleasant. I don’t think I have ever tasted a whiskey that has such an elegant taste to it. I would definitely recommend this whiskey!
