Tequila Reserva 1800 Silver Review:
This is a superbly smooth Tequila that produces a wonderfully neat and clean flavour profile. The agave used for 1800 is Mexican, bearing the blue agave varietal. It is a dry Tequila, and the delicate, lemony notes have a long, lingering finish.
The colour has been manipulated beautifully by the inclusion of the burnt oak colouring elements, which, along with the copper and gold flakes that is used, adds an extra depth and richness to this drink.
1800 Red is a lighter, more delicate version of this popular Tequila. Again, the finish is long and satisfying, with that “sipping” quality that characterises a good Tequila.
The 1800 Anejo Tequila is a smooth, medium-bodied and very easy to drink Tequila. Its distinctive, dry flavour profile has a warm undercurrent of aniseed oil, with sweet yet peaty notes emerging towards the end of its long finish.
This Tequila is made with 100% blue agave, and aged over a period of at least one year in oak barrels. It has a light, copper colour, and the smell is slightly sweet, yet is carefully balanced with the oak and spice aromas that travel from the bottle.
It is very easy to drink and will creep down with immense smoothness. A really easy-going and pleasant Tequila.
1800 Anejo Tequila Review:
This is a soft-spoken Tequila, and some of the oak notes have clearly stayed in the bottle lingering long after opening. This certainly ages very gracefully, and wisps of this agave-infused Tequila accompany my after-dinner smoke as I casually tap the end of my cigarette into my glass.
1800 Añejo Tequila is a blend made from 100% blue agave and aged over a period of at least one year in small oak barrels. In our view, Jose Cuervo have produced the very best aged Tequila currently available, and we recommend this product.
A delicately-flavoured Tequila with aromatic overtones of white pepper, smoke and vanilla. This has the smooth and sweet, agave essence of a fine Tequila, with the characteristic oaky undertone of a well-aged Tequila.
1800 Añejo Tequila is a smooth quality Tequila. It is a very mature and eloquent Tequila – and is an excellent product and currently on sale for £24.99 per bottle which is very very good value to our mind.
Tequila displays its agave flavours instantly, with a sweet yet oaky finish. It is very much for sipping, and is a really special Tequila.
This Tequila certainly captures the spirits of the Mexican character, both in style and colour.
Tequila Reserva 1800 Silver ‘Anejo’ Tequilana Silvera is a fantastic example of a superb Tequila. It is a very smooth creamy Tequila with a full, lingering finish and subtle proof that makes it perfect to sip!
This is a smooth Tequila, delivered in a large, test tube-style bottle. It doesn’t smell like alcohol at all, which is a good thing for the sensitive nose, and with a lovely light gold colour, it’s the perfect summer drink.
The 1800 Reserva is a smooth Tequila, although a little high in proof for our money. It has a subtle oakyness and vanilla undertones.
This is a smooth Tequila, with a subtle, warm agave fruitiness. It has the heavy texture and warming, heavy aromas of a very mature Tequila.
It has an aged Tequila aroma and a complex, developing finish that makes it perfect for sipping.
1800 Reserva has a very silky presence, with a well-balanced agave flavour. For drinks with fruit or soft spirits, this is an ideal candidate.
Tequila Reserva 1800 Silver Review:
1808 Reserva is the new Reserva Añejo that promises a softer more rounded agave flavour, it is this Tequila which represents the Jose Cuervo’s “Old World” style of Tequila-making: The 1800 Anejo is 100% agave, and aged for one year in oak barrels, and 1808 Reserva is a blend of 99.1% agave (a higher percentage of agave than the 1800), aged in smaller barrels.
It is made, bottled and aged at Jose Cuervo’s distillery, by the same expert craftsman and Tequila makers.
Tequila 1800 Reserva is a mostly sweet medium-bodied Tequila with good spicy notes. It is a very tasty, smooth Tequila, with a pleasant, spicy-fruity and pleasant, sessionable taste.
