PRODUKT Milk-frother
This product was recommended by Kate Mura from Kate’s Theatrics
I love my Ikea milk frother. It was a gift a few years back and I adore it. I primarily use it with coconut milk in my coffee. It doesn’t get the super dense micro foam from your favorite batista, but is perfect for making a morning at home just a bit fancier.
De’Longhi BCO430BM All-in-One Combination Maker
This product was recommended by Yurii Brown from CoffeeGeekLab
Having to heat and froth milk whenever you’re making a cup of coffee can be real tasking, not to mention time-consuming. And for several people who don’t have the luxury of time, having a machine that can deliver quality milk froths is a worthy bargain. The De’Longhi BCO430BM is a combined coffee and espresso machine. It has one side dedicated for coffee and the other for espresso and other milk-based coffee beverages. The espresso machine comes with an adjustable milk frother that does a barista job as good as it comes. What’s great about this machine is its semi-automatic setup which requires that you press only a few buttons to get a delightful cup of your favorite coffee drink. This machine can make drip coffee on the one hand and make lattes, cappuccinos, or a good old espresso shot on the other.. And the beautiful thing is both can function simultaneously. It uses a 15-bar pressure pump to steam water used in brewing. That guarantees a rich coffee brew and then topped off with a thick foam of well-frothed milk that tastes really good. This machine produces the exact caramel taste that coffee connoisseurs recommend. You can use either coffee grounds or espresso pods with this machine. However, fresh bean grounds are always the best. This coffee and espresso maker comes with a 10-cup glass carafe which makes it easier to produce coffee on the go without having to refill every time. And to go hand-in-hand with that, the machine has a dedicated active carbon water filter – that way, your coffee remains fresh and healthy always. The water reservoir and drip tray can be detached and cleaned as often as needed. However, the brew can’t be removed, which makes it a bit harder to clean. You would have to clean it with a cleansing tablet.
Breville Oracle Touch Fully Automatic Espresso Machine
This product was recommended by Nick from Your Coffee & Tea Essentials
I would recommend the Breville Oracle Touch. It is indeed quite pricey, but in my opinion, it’s probably the best machine out there for home users. I have owned this beauty for almost three years and have never encountered an issue with it. It is extremely easy to make any drink. It comes with some pre-programmed drinks, and you can add more based on your preferences! The materials used are of high quality, and it’s got good aesthetics. Usually this machine is a conversation started and our guests beg us to show it off with a cappuccino or espresso shot. It is fully automatic, so that means it grinds the beans (this can of course be customized), does the tamping, pulling and steaming with just pressing a couple of buttons. Talking about espresso, the crema this machine can pull is abundant and heavenly. Finally, of course, has an amazing micro-steam wand that is fully automatic, but also features a manual mode for the more advanced user. Even though I’m a barista, the automatic steaming mode is so good I’ve never really had to use the manual mode. You can customize the milk temperature and texture level very easily, and save the settings so that you can recall them at a moment’s notice. The only drawback is that this machine is quite big…and pricey. But if you are a coffee fanatic, it’s is a very good investment!
