Who just doesn’t love a smoothie? Show me a person who can’t possibly appreciate the glory of a refreshing and energy-packing, flavored blend that hits as smoothly as the name implies and I’ll show you someone that’s against everything that’s good about life… Or someone towards which sugar is not so friendly.

Regardless of what the case might be, smoothies are one of the best fads millennials have been hit with and there’s little reason for not to enjoy them. Plus, you can pack your smoothies with whatever fits better for you functionally: Proteins, sugar rushes, intense fruit flavor, etc. To get the smoothest of all smoothies using the right gear is crucial, that’s why we present to you the best blenders available to get the job done. But you need to know that all blenders are not equal, kitchen blenders are different than drink blenders, for example.

The Vitamix 5200 is by far the best blender on the market. Its $400 price tag is steep, to be sure, but you get what you pay for. It is the best blender I have ever used and it blows away the competition with everything from protein shakes and smoothies to nut butters and soups.

The Ninja line of blenders are very powerful and can pulverize tougher plant materials such as leaves and stalks on greens and power through ice and other frozen fruits, etc. This specific kitchen system is very versatile as you have a food processor as well as a full-size blender pitcher and the small tumblers, which are perfect for single-serve smoothies. The blades for the full-size pitcher and food processor feature blades for the full height of the shaft for better pulverizing and blending. The blades also are removable for easy washing. I make a green smoothie almost every morning with my Ninja blender.

The reason this is the BEST blender you can get is it’s not only great for smoothies (and they make a fabulous smoothie within minutes) but you can also make soups, dips, and hummus! Their waranties are great and customer service is even better! Also, the cleanup is so easy, as all you have to do is add water, run the blender for a minute and it’s good as new! You won’t be disappointed.

I used to be known as the /blender killer/. For decades I tried to make smoothies with loads of frozen berries and little liquid in cheap blenders. The fruitful attempts involved repeatedly stopping the machine to manually mix and sometimes (sadly) adding liquid. Less successful attempts led to smoke. Last May I bought myself a 1000 watt 6-bladed Ninja blender for Mother’s Day. It wasn’t even expensive, and it rocks! I make smoothies almost every day so thick you need to eat them with a spoon. I can make smoothies for three people at once in seconds without stopping the machine! I love my Ninja.
