The XO Cognac was smooth and tasted just like Cognac. Although, the XO Special is more special. The XO Special is a blend of wine and Cognac. Remy Martin XO Cognac is a blend of Cognac and the finest Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie.
The XO Special is sweet with a nice, long finish. It is more a sophisticated experience than the XO Cognac, but not a lot of flavor. The XO Cognac has more richness and a fuller body than the XO Special. Both are great however.
When steeped properly, this cognac was enhanced with a unique flavor. This cognac is richer and smoother than the XO Special. XO Special is a great cognac on its own. However, XO Cognac is just a little more special.
Remy Martin XO Cognac is definitely something special. XO Cognac is a blend of Cognac and the finest Grande Champagne. That is special.
This cognac is smooth and mellow. It is sweet without being too sweet. It is noticeably enjoyable. It is rich and subtle.

The idea is to create the world’s finest cognac with the blend of the finest Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. I do not know if that is really true, but it is nicely written and explains the blend and how the cognac is created. It is exactly like the Remy Martin XO Special, just as expensive.
