Launched in 2016 as the third expression in Glenlivet’sNàdurra range, this has been finished in casks which used to hold peated whisky. Inspired by the original whisky from the distillery in the 19th century, which was peated, this has notes of vanilla, cream, and subtle smoke.

Glenlivet Nadurra Peated Review:
Tom says: My first impression of this whisky is that it smells a little like petrol. But in a good way. It is also a decent, full-bodied whisky.
Geary says: There is a heavy note of smoke in here that I’m not sure I quite like. Beyond that, it’s a good whisky.
Chris says: It is peaty here, and tasty at that. The palate is surprising in that it is lovely – it is very sweet and light.

Glenlivet often rest their casks after they have been used to age whisky.
Reviewers says: This is a good treat for those who are just starting to explore the world of single malts.

GlenlivetNadurraPeated Grant’s Reserve &Nadurra Collaboration is a gorgeous limited edition.
This is another improvement. Grant’s Reserve Whisky is a brilliant whisky, quite an unusual one. A collaboration between Glenlivet, Grant’s, and Nadurra. It is matured in oak casks (obviously) that previously held Nadurra whisky. I’m not sure, but I think it may have been finished in sherry cask, which is quite unusual and gives it a really interesting and complex hint of sweetness. It’s not as sweet as the Nadurra but still quite pleasant.
I love this expression, especially the spicy notes and the light sweetness on the finish.

All Glenlivetbottlings are excellent in the Nadurra range, but this one is my favourite for the well-rounded flavour development and smoothness. It’s an exceptionally good whisky.
Drink Review: GlenlivetNadurraPeated Whisky Cask Finish
This is an excellent whisky and it is clear that it is the product of a collaboration between the owners of Nadurra, Glenlivet, and Grant’s.
It is 30% more ABV than the other two, (600ml), and is a good example of a single malt whisky.
Peated malts are my favourite malt whisky options, and it is a good to know that more malt whisky makers are incorporating them into their repertoires.
A bit of a departure from the Nadurra range, but in the same respect, it is good to see the range extend.
Jordan’s whisky rating: 3.5 stars.

GlenlivetNadurraPeated Review:
My favourite whisky in this series.
This is an excellent malt whisky. It is sweet, a little peaty and soft on the palate. The palate is soft and full.

GlenlivetNadurra Heritage Review:
Geary says: It is quite an interesting whisky, and one very different, but still flavourful. It is not my favourite, and it is not something I am going to order regularly. But I think it’s still a good product.
Chris says: It has a nice clean taste and is the best expression of the Nadurra range.
Tom says: It is very well balanced, but the fruitiness and notes of peat do not blend well into this whisky. It is also a little sweet.
